The
deadline is coming up for our third annual mail art show. We look forwards to
hearing from you! Come see us, some see your art!
Selected
exhibition photos will be posted on LianaSwink.com
The Transformative Vision
A
house becomes a face, a picture of a cheesy pizza becomes a cloud, a cloud
becomes a dragon. Ancient people memorized the heavens by turning groups of
stars into constellations. Make something into something else and send us your
mail art in any media, of any size, on the theme of "Transformation."
No
fee, no jury, no returns, participants with legible addresses will receive
postcard documentation.
We'll
exhibit all work suitable for a family cafe.
Deadline
Dec. 28th, 2013, exhibit in January at the South Store Cafe.

Orange
A
restaurant owner once told me that orange is the color of hunger, which is why
fast food establishments have orange chairs. I told an art school professor
about this. She was silent a moment, then replied “Orange is a difficult color.”
Please
send us your mail art in any media, any size, on the theme of "Orange is a
Difficult Color" or just "Orange."

entry fee, no jury, no returns, participants with legible addresses will
