You are kindly invited to participate in the “I International Mail Art call the Art Gallery Getafe”.
We were motivated by the words “Woman Fashion” we decided to use them as the theme for the production of Mail Art. These words are the starting point to imagine, create and reactivate the discussion about fashion and projects. At the same time, they allow us to combine fashion and artistic practicum with our social life.

How to participate:
We are inviting all artist and general public, no matter their age or residence

Technique: free
Size: 10x15 and 13x18 cm
Quantity: Max. 3 (originals and differents)
End of reception: July 15th 2015
Please include name of the artist, e-mail and post code at the back of the piece
Requirements: all the pieces should be sent by postal mail to the postal address that appeared at the bottom of this invitation. All the pieces should be signed by the artist and will be published if there is no offensive content on them.
There is no selection jury, no return.
A certificate will be sent to all participants via e-mail
All the works will be exhibited permanently in our blog. We will upload the works to our blog once received it . And they will be published in:

En el año 2012, a través de Mail Art, hemos creado un maravilloso libro dedicado a la POESÍA VISUAL que fue exhibido en un importante Centro Cultural. Fue una experiencia muy interesante y generó un enorme entusiasmo por parte del público.

 

Este año quisimos retomar aquella idea en un proyecto de dimensiones mucho mayores y como parte del 3° Evento de Mail Art que se realizará en el Mac, Museo de Arte.

 

Invitamos a participar de la creación de una gran INSTALACIÓN COLABORATIVA de POESÍA VISUAL.

 

Formato, tema y técnica: LIBRE

Sin jurado, sin selección, sin retorno.

Fecha límite: 30 de noviembre

In 2012, through Mail Art, have created a wonderful book about VISUAL POETRY was exhibited at a major Cultural Center. It was a very interesting experience and tremendous enthusiasm generated by the public.

This year we wanted to regain that idea into a much larger project and as part of the 3rd Mail Art event to be held on the Mac, Museum of Art.

Invited to participate in the creation of a VISUAL POETRY COLLABORATIVE INSTALLATION.

SUMMER IN SIGEAN/L’ETE A SIGEAN

Sigean is a small and beautiful village located in the South of France mid-way between Narbonne and Perpignan, and close to the Corbières and Pyrenees. (see www.sigean.fr)

There is a thriving Mail Art community in the village, and les Envelop-Pistes de Sigean will be holding an Exhibition of Envelopes in the local Médiathèque in August 2012.

The theme of the Envelope Exhibition is “Summer in Sigean”/ “L’Etè à Sigean”

You are invited to contribute an Envelope to this Exhibition.

Envelopes must be 16.5 x 16.5 cms /6.5 x 6.5 inches. (Sorry, but that is the standard format for the Exhibition, and only Envelopes of this size will be accepted).

The front of each Envelope should include a painting, drawing, collage, etc on the theme of “Summer in Sigean”/”L’Etè à Sigean”.

On the back of the Envelope please include your name, contact details and any other information that you think might be relevant.

Only the front of the Envelopes will be displayed in the Médiathèque (so there is no need to put anything inside your Envelope).

Any artist is cordially invited to participate. Please kindly pass on this message to fellow artists.

Deadline: July 15^th, 2012

The size of each work is limited to 14,8 x 10,5 cm (DIN-A 6). All media and techniques are free. Works of strong erotic content are not welcome.

All received works will be exhibited and cannot be returned. They will remain a part of the collection of Das Deutsche Drachenmuseum and can be shown in the future in the permanent exhibition of the museum.

All participants will receive a documentation.

The opening of the Mail Art Exhibition will take place on September 1^st , 2012, 2 p. m. at Das Deutsche Drachenmuseum Lindenfels, In der Stadt 2.

It will be open till September 30^th, 2012.

All persons interested in this event are welcome to attend.
