"Memories of Mark Twain"

The Geneva Lake Art Association, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, in conjunction with The Big Read, the National Endowment for the Arts program.... "designed to restore reading to the center of the American Culture"...are seeking Mail Art entries to our Mail Art Exhibition responding to the title and theme of "Memories of Mark Twain". This family-based theme is open to interpretation excluding images that are erotic, pornographic, violent, racist, xenophobic, violating any religion or offensive.
No Jurying. Artwork will not be returned. This is a “make and release” opportunity.
Please share this exhibition call with artists and students in your community.
All forms of mail art are welcome: postcard art/drawing/ painting/ printmaking/ collage or anything else that will go through the mail in an envelope. All artwork will be displayed on the Big Read blog, http://youngauditorium.wordpress.com/ and the Geneva Lake Art Association website, www.genevalakeart.org, and at The Big Read Kick-Off in Lake Geneva, WI, at Horticultural Hall on March 29, 2012.

Deadline: Submissions should be received by March 17, 2012.

Exhibition Date: March 29, 2012 at Horticultural Hall, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, on the
above websites and thereafter at the Geneva Lake Art Association Gallery, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
