Paper Planes & Birds
The Wheelie Bin Gallery project will be finishing soon and have been thinking about a new mail art project to start in March.
Since the only spare space I have is on my workroom ceiling I have decided to cover it with sky, paper planes and birds. Please help by sending a patch of blue sky and a paper plane , bird or other flying thing to hang from it by a short thread.
Sky no larger than A4 and plane/bird no wingspan larger than 8 inches.

The Françoise Giroud Library of Castries (France) organizes from December 8th 2009 to January 9th 2010 a Mail art exhibition.
We therefore send out a call for contributions on the following subject : Garden(s).
A special temporary exhibition will be set up during the "Jardins publiques / Jardins privés" event that takes place from june 26th to june 28th 2009, showing a selection of what we have already recieved.
Please send your work before November 1rst 2009 for the annual exhibition or before may 31rst for the temporary exhibition to the following address :

The Castrian art association « Aldébaran » oganizes each year since 2003 an annual art exhibition that takes place in either private or public gardens or parks. Visitors are invited to an artistical stroll through the village, presenting pieces by major contemporary artists.

The Montrose Portrait Gallery of Canada has no heat. No matter. We're seeking your finest winter portraits for Cold Comfort, a show that'll run February-March in the gallerage. We'll drink warm beverages and wear our plushest parkas, and it will make the art feel that much more vividly real.
